Customer Service, Freight Operations (m/f/d)

We’re looking for a Customer Service Operator who is dedicated to providing the exceptional standards of service our customers have come to expect. Covering all transport modes and trade lanes, you’ll coordinate the movement of shipments, customs clearances and deliveries; serving and helping develop relationships with our customers across the Benelux region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Processing quotations for all types of shipments, including imports, exports, and domestic movements.
  • Managing and completing the organisation of import collections and export deliveries.
  • Maintain smooth communication with customers, shipping companies, domestic and foreign branches/agents; coordinating the work between related units.
  • Actively provide corresponding feedback to customers and agents, such as the progress of cargo transportation and the costs incurred. Ensure that customer commitments are met and explain to customers if there is any inconsistency.
  • Work to ensure safe and efficient delivery of goods to destination, dealing with any problems that arrive to ensure customer satisfaction is achieved.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Prior work experience isn’t required, so long as you have the enthusiasm and aptitude to develop your career within the exciting Logistics industry.
  • A confident and articulate communicator, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • A diligent attitude to operational tasks and workload management.
  • Full professional proficiency in English language.
