We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive to join us in the Netherlands.

This is a hybrid role, with travel.

This role is responsible for driving Ligentia’s revenue growth within the freight forwarding industry by developing and executing effective sales strategies in order to acquire new clients and expand existing business relationships.

Your Role:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to identify and acquire new clients in the freight forwarding industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring exceptional customer service.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide effective solutions and meet client needs.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations and proposals.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports.

What You’ll Need:

  • Proven sales experience within the freight forwarding or logistics industry.
  • Strong understanding of international trade and logistics operations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business – on average 2/3 days per week
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
