December 1, 2025 – Ligentia, a leading global supply chain management company, has achieved Planet Mark Business Certification in our first year of participation.
Planet Mark is a globally recognised sustainability certification that helps organisations measure and reduce their carbon footprint. This certification marks a significant milestone for Ligentia, demonstrating our commitment to embedding sustainability into our operations and setting a clear baseline for year on year reductions across the internationally recognised GHG Protocol Scopes.
In our first year, we measured our full global emissions across Scope one, two and partial Scope three. We are committed to increasing the Scope three boundary and our 2024 report ensures that we have the initial data and insight needed to monitor our impact across all regions and to drive meaningful reductions in the years ahead.
Dan Gill, CEO, says:
“Achieving Planet Mark certification is a milestone for Ligentia. By measuring our global emissions, we’ve set a strong baseline to drive meaningful reductions and lead the way in sustainable logistics. This partnership is about more than recognition, it’s about accountability, transparency and our commitment to continuous improvement.”
Monica Stefanescu, Global People Director, adds:
“Sustainability is central to our culture and in our promise to customers and the community. Planet Mark certification validates the work we’ve already done and sets us up to deliver measurable progress year on year. It’s a celebration of our people’s dedication and a signal to our customers that we are serious about leading responsibly.”
Ligentia’s Planet Mark certification marks the next step in our sustainability journey. By working together across our global teams, we will continue to reduce emissions, operate responsibly and make a positive impact for our customers and the communities we serve.
